Jay Ungar & Molly Mason are known to millions (and were nominated for an Emmy Award) for their rendition of Jay’s tune Ashokan Farewell on the Grammy-winning soundtrack to the Ken Burns’ PBS documentary The Civil War. Recognized as one of the premiere fiddlers of our time, Jay is brilliantly acompanied on guitar, piano and voice by Molly, creating a rich and expressive sound that reveals the deep emotions in their music. The duo also directs the Ashokan Music & Dance Camps in the Catskills, sharing their love and knowledge of the folk heritage with fiddlers, guitarists, mandolinists, percussionists, dancers, dance callers and instructors each year.
