Rod MacDonald & Mark Dann







Rod MacDonald "was a big part of the 1980s folk revival in Greenwich Village clubs", says Allmusic.com, recording 21 songs for Fast Folk/Smithsonian and co-producing the GVFF. He’s made 12 cds and written songs covered by Shawn Colvin, Garnet Rogers, Happy Traum, Four Bitchin’ Babes, Joe Jencks, and dozens of Rennaissance/maritime/chorale groups have recorded his song, "A Sailor's Prayer." His first novel, The Open Mike, was published in 2014. He is also Music Americana instructor in Florida Atlantic U’s Lifelong Learning program. A new solo cd, Boulevard, and a 2d novel, The American Guerillas, were released in September, 2021. He does a free concert Sundays at 9 pm each week at www.facebook.com/rodmacd.

Mark Dann has played bass and guitar with dozens of artists as a touring bassist and as a member of the Fast Folk and Falcon Ridge house bands, in addition to recording and producing hundreds of cds for numerous artists, including 12 of Rod's. He and Rod have performed hundreds of shows in the northeast US and done more than 45 tours together in Europe.
