Deborah has been writing songs and performing for 50+ years, primarily in the Boston Area. Her first band, New Harmony Sisterhood's, album, "And Ain't I a Woman," now resides in the American Folk Life collection at the Smithsonian. Deborah played and recorded with "Taproot," her band, "Band of Erics," and solo; her songs have travelled the world in the repertoire's of the likes of Peggy Seeger, Delores Keene & Bob Bossin among others. Deborah now makes her home in Asheville, NC where her attention is focused on the production of her musical, "Riveted."
