Despite getting a "D" in Astronomy in college in 1970, at this year's 2021 commencement exercises Christine was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from her alma mater, SUNY Brockport, for the work she has done over the years in folk music. She is currently working on her 26th solo album.

She has both performed and shared the task of emcee on the Greenwich Village Folk Festival monthly on-line concerts since they began in July 2020.
